Perhaps the greatest gift we can give to these people is to appreciate and enhance the value of models like the "Casa del Arquitecto", to show them how to offer visitors a special welcome, arising from the island itself. We also need to think about densification mechanisms and types that discover how they can improve their quality of life without the need to resort to foreign. Outside values, and recover the dignity of re-using left over and discarded material to lay out the domestic space, something that we visitors have a lot to learn about.
In the face of the need to increase the density to curb extensive growth of the town, a proposal was made to grow underground living accommodation. The development of tourism would hence represent an opportunity to propose mixed housing solutions, giving rise to a spaces for relations between visitors and residents, in internal courtyards and by playing with the light.
